Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to lead our Johannesburg store. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and implementing effective sales strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and boost revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of store management, including sales, inventory, and staffing.
  • Foster a positive team environment that encourages cooperation and productivity.
  • Evaluate sales performance and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Manage budget expenditures and control costs to maximize profitability.
  • Communicate company goals and objectives to staff.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve service.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures by all staff.
  • Develop community engagement initiatives to drive local traffic.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher qualification in Business Management or Retail Studies is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within retail
