Job Description

The Pickle House Operator will manage and maintain the equipment used in the production of pickles. This role involves monitoring machine operations, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety procedures while assisting in the packaging process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production flow and adjust processes accordingly.
• Implement best practices in machine operation and maintenance.
• Oversee the cleaning and sanitation of equipment.
• Assist in the development of new production techniques and recipes.
• Work closely with quality assurance staff to uphold standards.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred experience in food manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Machinery operation

Languages

• English: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience operating machinery: Hands-on experience with food processing machines.
