Job Description

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting and interpreting electrocardiograms (ECGs) and other cardiovascular tests. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to provide patients with accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ECGs, stress tests, and Holter monitoring for patients.
• Operate and maintain cardiology equipment, ensuring readiness for use.
• Generate accurate reports of test results for healthcare teams.
• Assist during invasive procedures such as angiograms.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines to maintain patient privacy.
• Engage in ongoing learning and stay informed about new technologies.
• Coordinate patient care effectively within the interdisciplinary team.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Cardiology or Biomedical Technology
• Additional certifications in cardiovascular diagnostics are advantageous.

Experience

• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations is desirable.
