Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of local and international tax regulations, providing insights and strategies to clients with efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file various tax returns in compliance with local and national regulations.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive tax information.
• Participate in tax audits and represent clients as needed.
• Develop training materials and resources to educate clients on tax-related topics.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving internal tax processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Taxation or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in tax advisory roles
