Animal Trainer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Animal Trainers to join our team at Wildlife Conservancy. You'll be responsible for training various animals, conducting educational presentations, and ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate has a strong background in animal behavior and experience working with multiple species.

Responsibilities

• Create enrichment activities to stimulate animals mentally and physically.
• Participate in the rescue and rehabilitation of injured wildlife.
• Work with behaviorists to refine training techniques.
• Provide training workshops for new staff.
• Support the organization’s conservation initiatives and programming.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Wildlife Conservation or related discipline
• Postgraduate studies are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years working with exotic animals preferred

Certifications

• Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator

Languages

• English: Fluent
