Teller/Bank Representative

Job Description

As a Teller/Bank Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with their banking needs, from opening accounts to processing transactions. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless customer experience while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in all your dealings.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash handling duties and ensure proper balancing of cash drawers.
• Guide customers through banking processes and assist with digital banking solutions.
• Implement security measures according to company protocols.
• Assist in promoting bank services and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Conduct transactions with efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss sales and customer service strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Business Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in customer service or banking role

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
