Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Psychologist with a strong commitment to the mental well-being of our clients. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various mental health issues. The role demands empathy, professionalism, and a robust understanding of therapeutic practices. Help individuals find pathways to recovery and personal development by offering tailored psychological services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars on mental health awareness.
  • Advocate for client needs and connect them with additional resources.
  • Support clients through crisis intervention as needed.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health services.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • 2+ years of clinical experience as a Psychologist
