Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and software development. You will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models, optimizing performance, and collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to deliver impactful AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for various applications.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to facilitate data access.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement model monitoring and feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for machine learning applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning and software development
