Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' tax situations and develop tailored recommendations.
• Review and enhance internal tax processes to increase efficiency.
• Manage deadlines and follow up with clients for required documentation.
• Educate clients on their obligations regarding taxation.
• Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors on tax matters.
• Prepare technical documentation to support tax positions taken.
• Participate in training and development sessions for staff.
• Collaborate with legal teams for compliance assurance on corporate transactions.
• Assist senior management in strategic decision-making based on tax implications.
• Build a network of professional contacts in the tax community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in taxation or a related field
