Project Manager - Construction

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee our construction projects in Sandton. This role involves managing all phases of project execution, from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure design specifications are met.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to sites.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise construction progress.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular budget and progress reports for senior management.
• Develop and implement project plans and timelines.
• Facilitate effective problem-solving and decision-making.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Masters in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience managing construction projects
