We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, and optimizing chemical processes. You will work on varied projects, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations while delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and optimization of chemical process technologies.
• Develop energy-efficient procedures that minimize waste and costs.
• Coordinate with quality assurance to uphold product quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in processing.
• Innovate and implement sustainable practices within the facility.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality materials.
• Draft and maintain documentation for engineering processes according to regulations.
• Lead root cause analysis for any deviations in production.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Communicate findings and updates to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in chemical engineering or related industries
