Job Description

As an Infant Room Teacher, you will play a vital role in the development of infants at our daycare. You will be responsible for creating a positive and safe environment, implementing age-appropriate activities that focus on the physical, emotional, and cognitive growth of the children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging lesson plans focusing on physical and emotional development.
• Ensure proper hygiene practices during feeding and diaper changes.
• Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to promote self-confidence in infants.
• Organize events that involve parents to foster community engagement.
• Adapt activities based on the varying developmental levels of infants.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in mentoring new staff members and interns in best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate
• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or Childcare is preferred

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is highly regarded.

• Childcare Management Software
