Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Highway Maintenance Workers to perform routine maintenance tasks on critical transportation infrastructure throughout Johannesburg. The ideal candidates will be responsible for identifying faults, executing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of roads and bridges to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various transportation infrastructure.
• Document and report maintenance activities effectively.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during maintenance work.
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with specialized maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to work at heights
