We are seeking a driven Chemical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves applying engineering principles to develop and improve chemical processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and ensure efficiency in production. You will be responsible for conducting experiments, analysing data, and implementing solutions to enhance our production capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and optimise chemical compounds for various applications.
• Evaluate laboratory experiments and analyse results for process improvements.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure material availability.
• Participate in safety audits and training programs.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for engineering tasks.
• Communicate findings and improvements to stakeholders clearly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of process engineering experience
