Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team at our Johannesburg practice. As a Veterinarian, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and treating our animal patients, as well as advising pet owners on proper care. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for animals and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of veterinary care.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose illnesses and injuries in animals and prescribe treatments.
  • Perform surgeries and oversee anesthesia.
  • Develop and implement health care plans tailored to each patient.
  • Provide compassionate care and comfort to pets and their owners.
  • Collaborate with specialists when necessary for advanced care.
  • Participate in clinic marketing and client retention strategies.
  • Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Postgraduate qualification in veterinary surgery preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications
  • Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
