Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Johanneburg team. This role involves designing and implementing security measures to protect our digital assets from potential threats. You will work alongside IT professionals to fortify our cybersecurity posture and respond to incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity measures.
• Lead incident response to security breaches.
• Participate in security architecture design.
• Support and mentor junior cybersecurity staff.
• Document security incidents and maintain logs for analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years working in a cybersecurity role

Technical Skills

• Information Security
• Firewalls and VPNs

Soft Skills

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards: Knowledge of information security management standards is advantageous.
