We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our talented team in Cape Town. This role involves developing innovative cloud strategies and deploying cloud infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing system performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud governance policies.
• Lead cloud migration projects and assist in stakeholder communication.
• Evaluate cloud service providers to align with business needs.
• Participate in client meetings to assess requirements and propose solutions.
• Analyze cloud infrastructure for cost optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate on documentation and training materials for cloud services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline
• Master's degree in Cloud Computing or related field is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Cloud Security

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
