Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical practices and a passion for patient care. You will be responsible for managing medication distribution, advising patients on drug therapies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and effective dispensing of medications.
• Provide drug utilization reviews and clinical consultations.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Assist in training pharmacy staff and interns.
• Evaluate drug interactions and advise on alternative therapies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or related field
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of pharmacy experience accepted.
