As a Millwright, you will ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within our plant. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of machinery to detect potential issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
Work with engineering teams to develop maintenance strategies.
Ensure all safety and compliance regulations are adhered to.
Document maintenance processes and equipment performance.
Engage in continuous improvement activities.
Provide technical guidance and support to other departments.
Participate in training programs for new technologies.
Requirements
Education
Matric certificate or equivalent
National Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering
Trade certification as a Fitter and Turner is preferred
Experience
5-7 years’ experience in plant maintenance or operations.
