Help Desk Analyst

Job Description

Join our team in Port Elizabeth as a Help Desk Analyst, where you will be the first point of contact for technical support inquiries. Your primary responsibilities will include resolving user issues, assisting with software applications, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while working closely with the IT department.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
• Perform basic installation and configuration of desktop and laptop computers.
• Assist users with account management and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Keep the knowledge base updated with common solutions and FAQs.
• Ensure all systems are compliant with company policy and procedures.
• Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Collect user feedback to improve the IT support experience.
• Prepare reports on common issues and solutions for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant field

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in the IT support sector

• Remote IT Tools

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with troubleshooting peripheral devices: Hands-on experience solving issues with printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
