Job Description

As a Dam Tender, you will oversee the construction and maintenance of dams. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and on schedule, while adhering to safety regulations. A strong background in construction management will help you excel in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Design construction methodologies for dams and related infrastructure.
  • Lead project teams in the successful execution of dam construction.
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments for dam projects.
  • Manage contract negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental regulations throughout the construction process.
  • Provide leadership and training to construction teams.
  • Ensure quality control during all phases of construction.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the performance of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant Project Management certification is a plus
Experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in large-scale construction projects, with a focus on dam construction.
