Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst at Health Solutions SA, you will analyse data, monitor health trends, and develop strategies to promote public health initiatives. Your expertise will assist in improving community health outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess public health needs in communities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive health projects.
• Utilize GIS mapping for health resource allocation.
• Contribute to the development of public health guidelines.
• Provide leadership in health education campaigns.
• Conduct fieldwork to collect health data directly.
• Support the development of outreach materials and strategies.
• Monitor compliance with health regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Statistics
• Master's in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in public health research

Technical Skills

• Quantitative Research Methods
• GIS Mapping

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)
• Environmental Health Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Data Visualization Tools: Experience with tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
