Job Description

As a Road Commissioner, you will oversee the construction, maintenance, and repair of vital roadways, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Your role involves collaborating with government officials and contractors to facilitate projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all roadworks adhere to local environmental laws and regulations.
  • Manage public consultations and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve project designs and specifications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is required
