We are on the lookout for a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards while contributing to innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design projects from conception to completion.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Develop and implement energy-efficient design strategies.
• Analyze system failures and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of significant experience in electrical design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit MEP

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with electrical simulation software: Experience with tools for simulating electrical systems for analysis and validation.
• Project management experience: A history of managing engineering projects from concept through to completion.
