Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Logistics Coordinator to manage our supply chain operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining quality and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in coordinating various logistics functions and liaising with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies.
• Manage shipping schedules and transportation methods.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs regulations.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor transportation costs and ensure budget compliance.
• Evaluate logistics performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide training and support to junior logistics staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
