Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of steel products. This role requires physical fitness, the ability to work in a hot and noisy environment, and a strong focus on safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust heat treating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Supervise the loading and unloading of products into heat treatment furnaces.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Follow strict quality control procedures to ensure product specifications are met.
• Engage in continuous improvement processes for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but relevant experience is a plus.

Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in the steel production industry.
