As a Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our finance team by ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing accurate tax filings, and advising clients on tax-related matters. The perfect candidate has a deep understanding of the South African tax landscape and can communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough tax compliance checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Prepare for and manage tax audits efficiently.
• Provide training and support to junior tax staff and interns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with tax policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on changing tax laws and best practices.
• Support financial reporting processes with accurate tax information.
• Assist in the analysis and evaluation of tax legislation.
• Work closely with financial managers to forecast tax liabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation and compliance
