Industrial Machinery Mechanic

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Industrial Machinery Mechanic, also known as a Mill Dresser, to set up and operate milling machines for producing precision parts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both horizontal and vertical milling machines, with a knack for ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and calibration of milling machines.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure machines meet operational standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and tools.
• Support team members by providing mechanical assistance as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Trade test certificate in Manufacturing Technology is preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years operating in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on milling.

Technical Skills

• CNC Experience
• Metalworking

• Effective Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing Certification
• Forklift Operating License

Languages

• English: Fluent
