As a Registered Nurse in Durban, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous medications and monitor infusion sites.
• Educate patients on managing chronic illnesses.
• Serve as a resource for newly hired staff and nursing students.
• Participate in and contribute to departmental meetings.
• Ensure the maintenance of patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Utilise electronic health record systems for patient documentation.
• Promote health education and wellness activities within the community.
• Assist patients with daily living activities as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in General Nursing
• Additional certifications in Advanced Nursing Practice is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in hospital nursing

Technical Skills

• Emergency Care
• Medication Administration

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems: Experience using digital patient documentation systems.
