Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in Durban, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our patients. Responsibilities

  • Administer intravenous medications and monitor infusion sites.
  • Educate patients on managing chronic illnesses.
  • Serve as a resource for newly hired staff and nursing students.
  • Participate in and contribute to departmental meetings.
  • Ensure the maintenance of patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Utilise electronic health record systems for patient documentation.
  • Promote health education and wellness activities within the community.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in General Nursing
  • Additional certifications in Advanced Nursing Practice is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in hospital nursing
