We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Pretoria branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication consultations to patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient medication consultations and provide health advice.
• Conduct health screenings and immunizations as needed.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Monitor drug interactions and contraindications.
• Implement quality assurance protocols to enhance patient safety.
• Assist in inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Report any adverse drug reactions to appropriate agencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PhD in Pharmacy or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy practice
