Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Pretoria branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication consultations to patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Provide vaccination services and health screenings.
• Manage pharmacy staff and delegate responsibilities effectively.
• Develop health improvement programs for the community.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss pharmacy operations and patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate records of controlled substances.
• Advise on over-the-counter medications and products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PhD in Pharmacy or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community pharmacy practice
