Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Durban. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial transactions.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Review and analyze financial reports for accuracy.
• Coordinate with financial institutions regarding loans and credit.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with management to optimize financial strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Review and enhance internal controls.
• Document financial processes and policies.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• Professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar accounting position

Technical Skills

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• QuickBooks and Excel

• CIMA or ACCA Qualification
