Looking for an experienced Insurance Underwriter to evaluate client applications and determine appropriate coverage. Your analytical skills and decision-making capabilities are essential for shaping our insurance offerings and supporting our clients' security.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze insurance applications for acceptable risk levels.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for underwriting.
• Establish pricing strategies based on comprehensive risk assessments.
• Conduct periodic policy reviews and adjust terms as needed.
• Provide expert recommendations to management regarding underwriting guidelines.
• Assist in training junior underwriters and staff on best practices.
• Engage in continuous education to enhance underwriting skills.
• Collaborate on projects aiming to improve the underwriting process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in underwriting or insurance

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (ACU)

Languages
