General Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a motivated General Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to a variety of engineering projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of practical experience and innovative thinking, capable of tackling complex engineering challenges whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design systems and components to meet client specifications.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Work collaboratively with architects and project managers to achieve project goals.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate project feasibility.
• Monitor the engineering process and ensure quality control.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Implement best practices in engineering methodologies.
• Lead workshops and share knowledge with the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in engineering
