Job Description

We are seeking a talented Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing advanced aerospace technology projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in aerospace engineering and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Research and integrate new technologies and improving designs.
• Ensure technical documentation is complete, accurate, and organized.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation for projects.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analyses for design issues and failures.
• Foster collaborations with universities and research institutions.
• Present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop solutions for technical challenges in projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering is preferable

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in the aerospace sector

Technical Skills

• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• SolidWorks and ANSYS

Soft Skills

• Team leadership
• Innovative thinking

Certifications

• Certificate in Aerospace Systems Engineering
• Agile Project Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of propulsion systems: Hands-on experience with aerospace propulsion technologies.
• Familiarity with materials engineering: Understanding of advanced materials used in aerospace applications.
