We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software issues, providing timely technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner and escalate as necessary.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Ensure proper backups are performed and disaster recovery processes are in place.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to streamline processes.
• Assist users with VPN connections and remote access issues.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
