We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead exciting projects in Sandton. The successful candidate will possess a creative flair and strong technical skills, aiming to deliver exceptional architectural solutions that cater to our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and plans that meet client requirements and regulations.
• Lead project teams through the design and construction phases.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure integrity of design implementation.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to deliver successful architectural projects.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications, including materials and construction methods.
• Stay up-to-date with architectural trends, building codes, and sustainability practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and consultancy

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp

Soft Skills

• Creative thinking
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Registration with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with sustainable design practices: Knowledge of green building certifications such as LEED.
• Proficiency in hand sketching and model-making: Ability to conceptualize designs through traditional methods.
