Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead exciting projects in Sandton. The successful candidate will possess a creative flair and strong technical skills, aiming to deliver exceptional architectural solutions that cater to our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive architectural proposals that capture the vision of the client.
• Support the implementation of sustainable design principles throughout all projects.
• Review and approve the work of contractors to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• Maintain good relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
• Assist in project budgeting and forecasting costs associated with design proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and consultancy

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp

Soft Skills

• Creative thinking
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Registration with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations: Understanding of legislation affecting architectural design within South Africa.
• Experience in residential and commercial projects: A portfolio showcasing a variety of structural designs is advantageous.
