Needle Loom Setter

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Needle Loom Setter to join our dedicated production team. The role involves setting up and maintaining needle looms to produce high-quality fabrics. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of textile production processes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret production orders to prepare machines for weaving.
• Calibrate machines to meet required fabric specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks on woven products to ensure adherence to standards.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace to ensure safe operations.
• Communicate effectively with the production team to achieve deadlines.
• Contribute to process improvements for enhanced productivity.
• Document maintenance activities and assist in scheduling repairs.
• Assist in training new team members on machine operations.
• Monitor raw material inventory and report shortages.
• Maintain a proactive approach to machine upkeep and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Diploma in Textile Production or related field is beneficial

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Needle Loom Setter or in textile production

Languages
