Job Description

As a Data Scientist in our Capetonian office, you will harness data to uncover trends and patterns that support business strategies. You should have experience with machine learning algorithms, data visualization tools, and an ability to communicate findings clearly to various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement new data handling technologies.
• Document methodologies and results for future reference.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging company data to improve business outcomes.
• Perform data cleansing and preprocessing to ensure high-quality datasets.
• Engage in cross-functional team meetings to align data strategies across departments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Statistics
• Master’s degree in Data Science or Analytics is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with data analytics

Technical Skills

• Python
• Tableau or Power BI

Languages

• English: Fluent
