Job Description

We are seeking an experienced First-Line Supervisor to oversee the daily operations within our washing and screening plant. The ideal candidate will ensure that production goals are met while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of plant operators, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Implement operational strategies to improve production efficiency.
  • Analyze production metrics to optimize processes.
  • Conduct training for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment to avoid operational disruptions.
  • Develop reports for management on production performance.
  • Assist in the hiring process for plant staff when necessary.
  • Foster a safety-first culture among all team members.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • National Diploma in Mining Engineering is an advantage

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in mining operations
