We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial models, conducting analysis, and preparing reports to help drive strategic decisions. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast business performance.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.
• Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data.
• Prepare presentations to communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Conduct variance analysis and report on deviations from budgeted figures.
• Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Liaise with external auditors and contribute to audit processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in financial analysis or related field

Certifications

• CFA Level II or above
