Job Description

As a Pharmacist at our Johannesburg pharmacy, you will oversee medication management, provide patient counseling, and help promote health education. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our customers and the efficient operation of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective medication management and patient care.
  • Provide drug information services to healthcare providers.
  • Support chronic disease management programs within the community.
  • Instruct patients on the appropriate use of medical devices.
  • Review patient medication records for ongoing optimization.
  • Engage in community education about public health topics.
  • Perform administrative duties related to pharmacy operations.
  • Keep up to date with new pharmaceutical research and developments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from a recognized institution
Experience
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy or retail pharmacy is an advantage.
