Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to prepare a variety of nutritious meals for our patients while adhering to specific dietary requirements. The ideal candidate will excel in cooking for large groups and possess a solid understanding of health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Create diverse meal options while adhering to dietary restrictions.
  • Evaluate the quality of ingredients and ensure freshness.
  • Train new kitchen staff in safety protocols and food preparation techniques.
  • Respond to customer feedback and dietary inquiries promptly.
  • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional kitchen setting
