Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a registered pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care, advising patients on medication use, and ensuring the safe distribution of prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' health conditions and medication responses.
• Implement strategies for improving patient adherence to medication.
• Participate in pharmacy audits and quality assurance measures.
• Actively engage in continuing professional development.
• Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
• Advise on the safe disposal of medications.
• Collaborate with insurance companies for medication coverage.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmacy is preferred
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical or retail pharmacy environment
