Job Description

As a Broadcast Technician, you will be responsible for managing and manipulating sound systems for live events, broadcasts, and recordings. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality audio output, troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, and collaborate with event organizers and performers.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate sound equipment at various events.
  • Ensure smooth sound delivery by coordinating with the audio team.
  • Adjust sound levels according to the requirements of each performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members when required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep detailed logs of sound equipment performance and maintenance.
  • Assist in training junior staff on sound engineering best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or equivalent certification in Audio Engineering or Music Technology
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in live sound engineering or similar roles.
