Job Description

As a Creosoting Engineer, you will design and oversee the implementation of creosote treatment systems to enhance wood preservation. You will ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while training and supervising a talented team. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of wood treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of creosoting equipment.
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in treatment systems.
  • Conduct technical training for team members on wood preservation techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on treatment processes and outcomes.
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations.
  • Advise clients on effective wood preservation practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Forestry or Chemical Engineering
  • Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
Experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a supervisory role in wood treatment
Technical Skills
  • Experience with CAD software for designing treatment systems
  • Data analysis tools for quality assurance
