We are seeking a passionate AI Researcher to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine learning algorithms, data analysis, and programming. This role involves conducting research to develop innovative AI solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement these technologies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the performance of machine learning models and improve them.
• Create prototypes and demos to illustrate AI applications.
• Mentor junior team members in AI methodologies and practices.
• Collaborate in the development of ethical AI frameworks.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals for AI research.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Engineering
• PhD in Artificial Intelligence is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in AI research
