Winding Inspector and Tester

Job Description

The Winding Inspector and Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical coils and windings through meticulous inspection and testing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and tests on electrical coils and components.
• Identify and document any variances from specifications.
• Work closely with production staff to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in quality audits and inspections as required.
• Provide training to new inspectors on inspection processes.
• Utilize testing equipment and software to measure coil performance.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
• Technical certification in electrical systems is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Ability to read technical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to work under pressure

Certifications

• Quality Control Certification
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Understanding of Lean principles to drive efficiency.
• Familiarity with CI/CD testing processes: Basic knowledge of continuous integration and deployment methodologies.
