We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental assessments, compliance, and sustainable practices. You will be responsible for managing projects that focus on reducing environmental impact and enhancing sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the structural design for residential, commercial, or infrastructural projects.
• Conduct analyses and calculations to ensure stability and safety.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Maintain effective communication with regulatory agencies throughout the project.
• Review contractor and subcontractor proposals.
• Contribute to the improvement of structural engineering practices within the firm.
• Prepare engineering calculations and design reports.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer Certification preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in managing structural projects.

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
