Power Grader Operator

Job Description

The Power Grader Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining power grader equipment to ensure effective and efficient road construction and maintenance. This role involves collaborating with team members to achieve project goals and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Engage in pre-operation safety checks and equipment assessments.
• Document daily operational logs, including hours of operation and maintenance needs.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment use and safety.
• Maintain knowledge of grading techniques and equipment functionality.
• Report any equipment issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow environmental protection guidelines during operations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in road construction and maintenance is highly desirable.

• Heavy Machinery Operation

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Certification in Heavy Machinery Operation (Advantageous)

Languages

• English: Fluent
