Interior Designer

Job Description

We are in search of a motivated Interior Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative design solutions that enhance the aesthetics and functionality of our clients' spaces, while working closely with our clients to ensure their vision is realized.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings to understand their design preferences and requirements.
• Create technical drawings and specifications for construction and installation.
• Coordinate services and materials procurement with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain a library of materials and finishes for design reference.
• Develop realistic 3D models to assist clients in visualizing spaces.
• Provide ongoing support post-project completion for client satisfaction.
• Manage project documentation and reports as required.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Certification from a recognized design institution is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential design projects

• NCIDQ Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
